"I just wanted to let you know how happy our entire school was with your show. Many students and teachers commented that yours was the best assembly they've ever seen, and the 4th grade has been inspired to research their own folktales and retell them in their own way! I was extremely pleased with the Lenape tale. I appreciate your flexibility in making 'Around the World' tie in with our LIRR theme. You definitely made our PARP program a huge success-Thanks!

Make a Good Choice!” Workshop

Lou models his own childhood stories and through them gives students tools they can use to make good choices in their own lives. What do you do?” Lou makes this simple formula come alive for students, allowing them to:

  • Express feelings and ideas through discussion and writing activities
  • See through others’ eyes (Perspective Taking)
  • Engage in Improvisation and role playing
By the end of the workshop, teachers and students will put this formula in to practice and try to make better choices then before. This workshop works in conjunction with the “Make a Good Choice!” assembly program or on its own. A 50 minute workshop. Adapted for grades 1-6. Study Guides Available.
